I am a member of the Canadian Freelance Guild and the International Federation of Journalists. Currently, I am a Senior Contributing Writer for Cannabis Life Network and I also write for the Cannabis Digest and the Absolute Underground.
The IFJ represents more than 600,000 media workers from 187 organizations in 146 countries. An associate member of UNESCO, they have represented journalists at the United Nations since 1953. The IFJ delivers the International Press Card to members of its affiliated organizations, the only press pass endorsed by national journalists' organizations, in more than 130 countries.
The freelance branch of the Canadian Media Guild - The Canadian Media Guild (CMG) is a trade union representing employees at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (outside Quebec and New Brunswick), the Canadian Press, Thomson Reuters, Agence France-Presse, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Corus Entertainment, CJRC Radio in Gatineau, Que., TVOntario and ZoomerMedia.
